The Rest of the Story

Paul Harvey has passed away. That is the end of a radio legend. He was ninety years old and had just returned to broadcasting at least once a week.

I really loved listening to Mr. Harvey. His voice brings up so many memories. I will miss hearing him.

    Dax,

    Please do right by Mr. Harvey and change “past” to “passed”…he deserves it.

    Mr. Harvey will be greatly missed by many. The world lost a wonderful gentleman and radio lost a real honest hero.

    Indeed. A great man and a better announcer we will not know in our lifetime. I actually met Mr. Harvey once. Only HIS words would do that meeting justice in description, I haven’t that golden ability.

    I will sorely miss the; “And now…for the NEWS, “Now,…Page two”, and “Now,… for the rest of the story.”

    The golden age of broadcasting, both radio and television, is dwindling down to the end. So sad.
